While the external cabinet of this head has seen better days, the most important part is running like new. This VHT Special 6 Ultra was just fully retubed with a Tung-Sol 6V6 power tube and two JJ ECC83 12AX7 preamp tubes. All internal components were checked over and pass making this amp a fully functional little rocker. With two cascaded inputs, high and low output settings and a Wattage knob, this amp gives you tones of tones at normal bedroom levels up to pushing a 412 at recording levels.
