The ADA Ampulator is a miniature tube power amp and speaker cab emulator in a single rack space. It is an actual power amp mini-circuit that uses a 12AX7 tube. The Ampulator provides realistic tube tone color, power amp saturation, distortion, compression and dynamics. Various interactive settings are 0.2 to 200 watts, class A to AB, tube bias, tube matching, triode pentode, and presence. The unit can be used with digital or tube preamps to warm up the sound in live guitar rigs. It is also an extremely useful tool for direct recording.Â
